Hard Target 

I have read the ebook for this one so I knew what to expect but this narrator killed the narration. I was hooked from the moment Rafi was crying in the car until the epilogue.

I'm not going to lie, you may be confused about all the side characters in here in the beginning but eventually it becomes less important to the story.

All in all, I highly recommend this one.

I cannot believe I was hesitant about getting this series in audio as I had not listened to them before but wow. This is my second book in a row reading and I think Zane Daniels may become a favorite.

Anyways in here we have Omar, the brother-in-law to Rafi from book one and Anders Bash, one of the sexy twins from every book related to this world.

After months of teasing and pranks they finally hook up and realize that they love each other. The scene after Omar's night terrors was so sweet.

We also meet Rohan, one of the mcs from the next book, which I will start immediately.

Most Wanted

Ok listen, this is still not my fav of the series mainly because we don't actually get to know Thane in the first two books. We saw more of Ronan in the last one though.

Anyways, in this one we have Thane, a hulking massive man who was once involved with Ronan until Ronan accidentally told Thane that he loves him and Thane literally walked out the door in the middle of having sex. Ronan is the brother of Heath from the previous series and used to work for the feds.

I'm sorry but there was not enough groveling involved in my opinion.

So in between taking down bad guys they get back together.

I just want to say that you do need to read this one for the background of the next couple. Also, let's just say that Ronan is very bendy. Like extremely bendy and able to do things to himself.

I also need to point out that this file had some odd sound issues. Like some parts were edited in or something. If it had only been noticeable once or twice, I would not say anything but there was like this huge chunk.

Regardless, Zane did a great job and the narration was awesome.

Deep Impact

This last book of the guardians series is not my favorite, but it is the saddest.

Spoilers ahead

In here we have DB, who created the guardians and Odd, the more saner of the Bash twins. These two have skirted around each other in every book so of course the last one would feature them.

DB has always wanted Odd, but due to his injuries kept whitefanging Odd for years. Eventually, he gets his head out of his tush and they work it out.

The sadness for me was the fact that they disband and are no longer a group getting rid of the bad guys. Now they are somewhat legit, the couples all get married and have babies.

The narration was awesome and Zane performed beautifully.
