I love me some shifter/fated mates/mpreg/stranded/only one bed stories. Its a very enjoyable way to pass the time to read about people finding their one. And this one was cute.

In here we have Nick, a reindeer shifter who gets stuck on the side of the road due to a blizzard. Luckily, its right in front of Beckett's cabin. Nick knows instantly that this is his mate and while Beckett is human, he is also immediately into Nick.

The first 60% of the book is set around the whole being attracted but not going through with it cause of the whole shifter secret. Eventually they have the talk and boom, mated. The pregnancy happens immediately and babies arrive. Life is great and they live happily ever after.

Now onto the actual writing of this story.

Ok, so most people should know by now that Lorelei Hart is not one person and I really think all of these books should mark who is writing which chapters.

Some of these chapters were awesome and some seemed like they were from a different story. There were a lot of editing issues and the actual mcs didn't act themselves in some chapters. The chapters were in alternating pov, so it seemed like it was forgotten which MC was supposed to be in the spotlight.

Even with all that, this was a quick and cute Christmas read.
