Rediscovered (Do-Over #2) by E.M. Denning

First off, I need to make sure that everyone knows that this picks up right at the elopement of the couple from the first book. I did not read the first book, but was able to keep up with what was going on.

Secondly, this is not a will they/wont they situation. They get married at the beginning so the little angst is about their own hang ups and their horrible family.

Now onto the story. Jack and Harrison (Harry) met when they were teens and their parents got married. Harrison has major depression and Jack likes to dress femme. Neither parent supported them at all even when they were children. Jack chased Harry really hard, but Harry refused to let them get physically close. They basically ignore each other for years and Harry was forced into being engaged to Rowan. Harry would have still gotten married, if Rowan had not eloped during the bachelor party in Vegas.

This paragraph in the books explains it all rather well.

“I’m excited.” He glanced at Harrison. “It’s like it was meant to be.”

“Maybe it was.” Harrison eased the car back out onto the road.

“I’ve had that same thought a time or two recently. How strange life can be. Somehow, we were in Vegas on the same night as Sid. Sid bumps into Rowan, and they run off and get married. We see them stumble drunkenly out of a chapel and then, boom, we’re fucking like rabbits. Then we’re married , because hell no, I’m not letting you get away. We can plan for anything, but sometimes fate intervenes.” 

I enjoyed this greatly and will be going back to read the first book to get the details on what happened with Rowan and Sid.
