Knot Alone (Knotted Paths, #3) by Susi Hawke and Crista Crown

This story is fluffiness in book form.

This series is a spin off from the team alpha / alphabits stories but instead of focusing on the guys who save people, this is about the ones who were saved.

But one thing I have to say is this, while these guys in the treatment facility suffered from some really horrible things, they don't really talk about it. Its glossed over and while I understand why, there will be times where you start scratching your head and asking yourself, huh? No one wants the victim to suffer, but some angst is expected.

So onto the story.

Brett is a wolverine omega who was kidnapped at 16 and made to be a pet and not allowed to be human. He was also forcibly bred. He is rescued by the alphabits.

Chance is a golden retriever shifter who is a counselor at the center.

In Brett's very first group session, they smell each other and boom, fated mates. Chance also smells Brett and finds out that Brett is pregnant. So they date and eventually move in together.

Now listen, I love fluffy and no angst. But if you have people who have been captured for 10 years and was not even allowed to speak and he didn't need help learning how to people again?
