Audiobook review

After reading the first book of the series, one may not want to continue as the people were so horrible to Simon, but keep going as they kind of redeem themselves.

Fitz at first is hard to like as he has suffered from major burns, does not want the town to change, as was Antoine, who is the twin brother of a character that was in the Breaking the Rules series, based in the same town as the Irons and Works series. Now that we have that straight, Antoine was awful to his brother, as seen through Marcel's viewpoint.

So we have two people who are both hurt in different ways falling for each other. But of course at 80% we have the breakup because apparently Fitz has never heard of long distance relationships and FaceTiming. Then Fitz totally goes after Antoine to get him back.

The overall story about what's going on with Owen hurts since I have read all of these and know what that is. I do recommend reading the extra short stories in this series as it really does round it all out.
